Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. My name is Jesse Devries and I have been tutoring privately for 6 years now through my business here. I am based out of Ellensburg, Washington and offer my services there but I also tutor via zoom to students I cannot reach physically and I have been able to achieve as good results over zoom as I have in person.

The education environment today is always hard to read, it feels like it is shifting beneath our feet and changing everyday. That is what I seek to do with Devries Tutoring. My mission is to make education simplified for families. Whether your child goes to public school, private school, or is home-schooled, I can work with every education environment to achieve success. If you son or daughter has barriers that make education more difficult for them, then I am your best option. I have spent most of my educational career helping guide, mentor, and teach students who have things like autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and many others. I prioritize strong rapport and respect building with the students, and through mutual respect as well as my strong content knowledge, this is how I achieve results. What you get with Devries Tutoring is much more than just a tutor, you get a mentor, a positive role model, and even a professional reference to help your student acquire work potentially later on down the road. I am committed to my students, I can only take so many because I give so much of myself to each and every tutoring session, teaching is my passion, and helping others learn is what I was put on this earth to do.

A small thing I wish to add here. The classes below are not the extent of what I can teach. Here is a more full list other than what is below: History, English (reading and writing), Civics, Debate/public speaking, career preparation involving resume and cover letter as well as mock interviews. if you have any questions about what I teach if it isn’t on this list, feel free to ask! Even if I cannot, I may have a contact who can.
